Michigan Green Communities Challenge Now Open

Piggybacking off Monday's EGLE-related content, the Michigan Green Communities Challenge is now open. This initiative directly supports the MI Healthy Climate Plan, and it is sponsored by EGLE.

This service is such a cool benefit to Michigan cities who want to get serious about their sustainability goals! If you are with a Michigan municipality and you'd like to get involved, please drop me a line, I'd love to hear about your plans for the Community Energy Use category.

Let's get it straight from the horse's mouth. The bulletin reads:

"The Michigan Green Communities (MGC) Challenge, an annual sustainability benchmarking program, is open for 2024! Local governments can join the challenge and submit their sustainability progress now through May 1 [...] Participating in the MGC Challenge gives local governments free technical assistance opportunities, free registration to EGLE’s annual Michigan Sustainability Conference and the MI Healthy Climate Conference, networking opportunities with other local governments, and more."

Sounds like some networking I would enjoy til the cows come home.

Get electric or stay electric, friends. And be well.
